• Flying with kids isn’t as tough as it’s made out to be, and I’m here to advocate for that very notion. Yes, there are challenges—packing a myriad of snacks, the inevitable cry for some distraction mid-flight, and navigating the airport can feel overwhelming. Yet, with a touch of preparation and the right mindset, the experience can be quite delightful.

Take our recent trip to the Algarve, for instance. Armed with colouring books, a travel-friendly tablet and some unexpected games of I-spy, our journey was filled with laughter rather than tears. The key lies in embracing the spontaneity of travel with children, turning each moment into a new adventure.

Moreover, watching their eyes light up at the sight of clouds from above or their eager anticipation as we land in a new destination is utterly heartwarming. So, let’s silence the naysayers. With a positive outlook and a bit of ingenuity, flying with kids can truly be a wonderful experience. Who’s with me? 🙋🏼‍♀️
