Kid's Travel Journal: A Journey of Adventures

Dear Journal,

Today was absolutely brilliant! We woke up early and hopped on a big, red bus that took us to the seaside. The sun was shining brightly, and the waves were crashing against the shore. I could hardly contain my excitement!

Once we arrived, I took my shoes off and felt the sand squish between my toes. My sister built the tallest sandcastle with a moat around it, and I was the official guard of the castle—complete with a stick as my sword! After a while, we collected seashells to decorate our masterpiece, each one unique and sparkling in the sunlight.

For lunch, we enjoyed fish and chips from a little café by the promenade. The fish was crispy, and the chips were fluffy—just perfect! We even tried some yummy ice cream in strawberry flavour to cool down.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with oranges and purples, we took a stroll along the pier. I even spotted a couple of seagulls squawking and flapping their wings, hoping for a scrap of food.

I can't wait to tell my friends about all the fun we had today! I’ll make sure to doodle some pictures of the beach and our sandcastle to remember it forever.
